ALL GOOD THINGS in JULY
Just a quick word about the things I have planned for my blog next month. First up, the classic TV actress will be That Girl herself, Marlo Thomas. Expect photos, facts, and anything and everything about the wonderful Marlo. My guest for the month will be my friend and blogger of Comet Over Hollywood and ace reporter at The Shelby Star, Jessica Noelle Pickens. And over on my FB page, where me and Desiree share this movie pick of the day event with a chosen star of the week, some of the stars we shall be doing shall include birthday gal Olivia de Havilland and William Holden. So please join me at either place for some good old classic fun.

ALL GOOD THINGS in March
March Madness returns in the form of my 3rd annual Favorite Classic Movie Actress tourney with another 128 actresses competing to see who's the favorite actress of them all. Joining me once again to help me put on this mammoth event is John of Mythical Monkey, Desiree of Rosalind Russell and with us for the first time Kristen of Journeys in Classic Film. The fun begins Sunday, March 3rd. That will pretty much dominate my blog for most of the month but I will have time for my guest of the month. My good friend from Facebook, Valarie Joyce will be stopping by to spread a little sunshine from LaLa land. And I might have a few more surprises if I have time. So please stop by and spend a little time here at All Good Things.

Fall is here, my favorite time of the year. I will be continuing my fall photo series of classic stars in fall like clothing and settings. My goddess for the month will be Jane Wyman. Expect the usual postings about the goddess of the month. My guest will be fellow blogger Stacia of She Blogged All Night. She is already at work on the questions I sent her. And the big event of course will be my tourney, The Lombard Cup. Details coming tomorrow! Hope everyone has had a wonderful fall season so far!

ALL GOOD THINGS in SEPTEMBER
After a busy summer of blogging, September will be a little more slower paced. I will still be blogging but I don't have any major events planned...no tourneys, no festivals, etc. Just regular, everyday stuff. The classic movie goddess for the month will be none other than Joan Crawford. And that will lead to my guest for the month...Jessica Ellen Rowe from Australia who is the biggest Joan Crawford fan I know. So how's that for synergy. I will post some reviews of some of my favorite Joan films and well as the usual facts and photos regarding the goddess of the month. Also hope to write the 1947 edition of the Monties, my version of the Oscars. And then anything else that might catch my fancy. So please stop by from time to time to take up some classic movie ambiance.

ALL GOOD THINGS in August
For next month, I am doing another new series. This one will be called 31 Stars in 31 Days, in homage to TCM's Summer Under The Stars. I will choose one star a day and watch one of their respective films. If the star falls on a weekend I will watch more than one as I will be off work and hopefully have more time. I will also list some facts and post some photos of said star for that particular day. So Joan Blondell, who was the scheduled goddess for the month will now be rescheduled for January of next year. Sorry Joan. But I wanted to try this series and if it works, it will become a yearly event. I will have the list of the chosen stars and list of films by the end of this month. Also next month I will induct two more people into my Hall Of Fame. And try to get my next year of the Monties done as well. The year is 1947. My guest for the month will be my good friend and co-worker Debbie if she has the time. She recently left the place I work at to start a new job. So I more than understand if she is a little busy. Regardless August poses to be one of my biggest months. Please drop by to visit for a bit if you can. And as you can tell my the photo to the left, one of the chosen will be none other than the legendary Bette Davis!

ALL GOOD THINGS in JUNE
The summer begins next month and All Good Things promises to keep everyone cool. Well figuratively not literally. First off, my classic movie goddess will be Jean Arthur, one of Hollywood's nicest and greatest leading ladies. Expect photos, reviews of her films and other assorted goodies. My guest for the month will be Tracey Witt, a friend I met on Facebook. She is filling in for Becky, who will not be able to make her guest stint at this time. My impromptu summer movie vacation blogathon will be in full swing with links to all those who have signed up to participate. I may post another one this month as well. I will also continue with my At The Beach photo series through-out the month. So I think June will be another exciting month. As the heat on the outside rises, take a few moments to swing by here and I will try to help cool you off.

ALL GOOD THINGS in April
The legendary Greta Garbo will be my classic movie goddess of the month. One of the greatest actresses of all time and I plan to post reviews, photos, and the usual assorted goodies. All month long. My guest for the month will be Marsha who does the wonderful Flick Chick facebook page and her blog, A Person In The Dark. She is one of my good blogger friends and I love both her fb page and blog. Spring is here and I would like to do something related to that. Thinking of a new photo series ala At The Beach and The Fall Series. Don't know yet. Oh and the favorite classic movie actress tourney will wrap up by the first week of April and we should have crowned a champion by then. So please come by and sit for a spell with me here at All Good Things.

ALL GOOD THINGS in March
The big news for March is of course the Favorite Classic Film Actress tournament. Featuring a whopping 128 contestants and spread across four blogs, this tourney should be very exciting. With help from John of Mythical Monkey and Desiree of Rosalind Russell, there is no doubt this tourney will be more competitive than last year's. Now while that will take up most of my time, there are still other things going on here next month. The classic movie goddess of the month will be one of my all time favorites, Teresa Wright. The quiet and popular actress, who is also competing in the tourney, will be represented with photos, facts and reviews of her films. My guest of the month will be my good friend Patti of They Don't Make 'Em Like They Use To. She always writes the best reviews on her blog and has even made copies of movies that I didn't have and sent to me. What a great friend. So March is poised to be a very big month. It can't get here soon enough.

ALL GOOD THINGS in February
Here's a quick preview of the things happening next month on All Good Things. Jean Harlow, the Platinum Blonde will be the classic movie goddess. Expect all the regular goodies about the goddess all month long: photos, reviews of her films, facts, trivia, etc. My guest of the month is still up in the air. Either I will have two or none. I'm waiting to hear back from either one of my friends who I invited to be here. They have the questions so it will just be a matter of time when I hear from them. Also the theme next month will be romantic films since Valentine's Day falls in February. And I will start previewing the big Favorite Classic Actress Tournament, that is coming up in March. And all the other usual stuff that goes on here like match play, If It's Tuesday, Pawsome Pet Pictures, etc. So please do drop by and stay a spell.

2012 Preview for ALL GOOD THINGS
Yep...Monty has asked me to be one of his classic movie goddesses! YAY!
And I hope to do some spotlights on actors too. Up first will be William Holden (that will make Patti happy). So expect good things in 2012 here on All Good Things. Meanwhile over on my other blog, Screwball Cinema, I know I have kind of slacked off over there, but I promise to get things fired up and going again. I’m thinking about doing a tournament over there, sometime in the summer. And doing more reviews as well. So here’s to a great year not just for me and my blogs, but for everyone else too and that we all have just an amazing time!

ALL GOOD THINGS in November

So as the scares and chills of October begin to wind down, we look ahead to see what's coming in November. The theme of the month will be great film dramas. Focusing on family and other kinds of issues. Such films like Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, The Best Years of our Lives, Imitation of Life, Guess Who's Coming To Dinner, The Chalk Garden, Sunset Boulevard and others. The classic movie goddess will be the English Rose, Deborah Kerr. So look for reviews, pics and anything I fancy about the lovely Deborah. And my friend Sophie from Waitin' on a Sunny Day may drop by to do a guest post. Speaking of friends, that loveable Desiree is my guest of the month and she will be answering questions all month long. The favorite Hitchcock film tournament will wrap up in November and I can't wait to see what film takes the top prize. I'm hoping for The Lady Vanishes but I think it will be Rear Window. And I continue with my classic stars match play events with several more interesting matches including a marquee matchup between James Cagney and Humphrey Bogart. So please drop by next month to spend a little time with me and some stars.

ALL GOOD THINGS in September
Ahhh, the first taste of fall arrives in this month. And while I may be busy hosting the musical
tournament over at Dawn’s Singin’ and Dancing Back in Time and doing a guest post for Clara
at Via Marguatta 51, I won’t be leaving All Good Things high and dry. Oh and also contributing to
Irene’s And Then They Start To Sparkle. WOW! I will be all over the place next month won’t I?
Anyway here on All Good Things, my classic movie goddess of the month will be Shirley Jones.
Yes, Mama Partridge herself. You know me and Shirley share the same birthday of March 31st, so
I feel a connection to her more than any other star. I think she is a very talented woman and her
films such as The Music Man, Elmer Gantry and Oklahoma show her musical and acting abilities
at her very best. So you know the drill by now, photos, facts, and reviews of her all month long.
The Be My Guest spotlight is on Janine Wild this month and it starts a run of three friends who share a love of classic movies and Irene Dunne. Janine will be naming all her favorites all month long. Following her over the next few months will be her best friends Renata and Desiree. My At The Beach series will be winding down with more pics of stars just hanging out at the beach as the summer season comes to a close. And other assorted goodies when I have the urge to post something like my continuing If It’s Tuesday, Then It Must Be Grace Kelly series. So please stop by for a visit and spend a little time with me and all the classic stars you could want.

ALL GOOD THINGS in AUGUST
The summer will be winding down but I hope to keep things popping here on All Good Things. My classic movie goddess of the month will be Esther Williams, the acquatic marvel of so many musicals and comedies. Expect pics, videos, and reviews of everything Esther. My guest of the month will be Katherine Theresa, a friend of mine from Facebook, who just loves Audrey Hepburn to the nth degree. She will be talking about all her favorite movies and stars. My posts on the 60's that I started in July will continue on with spotlights on comedies, scif-fi, horror and dramas. Sadly to say there will be no tournament this month, but I may do one more before the year is out. If I have enough time. But for now expect the usual goodies and excitement that you guys have come to expect here on my blog.

ALL GOOD THINGS IN JULY
The summer heats up as July promises to be one of my best months ever. The main event for July will be all about the 60’s. It is my second favorite decade behind the 30’s and I will be focusing on the films, tv, stars, directors and anything else that was prevalent during this era. My good friends Irene and Dawn will be lending a hand to help me with this special event. Irene will also be my guest for the month as she has accepted my extended invitation to stay over for one more month. I could not contact the original person who was going to be my guest of the month so Irene decided she would fill in. So I will have a whole new batch of questions for the always entertaining Ms. Palfy to answer. As her stint in June proved to be one of the most commented guest appearances on my blog yet. The classic movie goddess of the month will be the wonderful Olivia de Havilland and I will be posting photos, reviews of her films, facts and all kind of goodies about her. My classic movie actor tournament will wrap up early this month and I can’t wait to see who will win. Of course I’m going for my guy, Cary Grant. So expect great things in July here on All Good Things.

The 60's are coming back to ALL GOOD THINGS in JULY

The 1960’s is my second favorite decade in terms of film. Just behind the 1930’s, when screwball comedies, my favorite genre, were at their zenith. I plan to do a six part series in July discussing that wonderful decade. Breaking down my favorite films, TV series, actors, actresses, directors and so on. Plus giving my thoughts on that decade in general. It will be my main feature for the entire month of July. I hope everyone will stop by and spend some time with me talking about All Good Things, 60’s style. The decade that changed everything from music to clothes to film. It will be the summer of love and fun. James Bond, Cleopatra, Natalie Wood, Valley of the Dolls, Paul Newman, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, Sharon Tate, The Graduate, Beach Blanket Bingo, British "Kitchen sink" films, That Girl, Elizabeth Montgomery, I SPY, The Wild Bunch, Raquel Welch, Julie Andrews, Bullitt, Gilligan's Island, Dr. Strangelove, Elvis, Ann-Margret, Dean Martin, Star Trek, Hammer Horror Films, The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, Psycho, The Avengers, Brigitte Bardot and tons more. In fact the more I think about it, it may take more than six parts to tell the tale. We'll see, but I promise it will be a fun ride. But I will have some support from my best friends and co-bloggers Dawn and Irene, who plan to help with the festivities.

ALL GOOD THINGS in MAY
I thought I might catch a breather in May but things are steadily popping up even as I write. The Classic Movie Goddess will be Lee Remick. A talented actress and one of my favorites. Starting next month I will also be doing a classic movie actor spotlight and John Wayne has the honor of being the first actor represented. Makes sense since his birthday happens to fall in May. My guest for the month will be Audrey of Fedoras and High Heels. Can't wait to hear her answers. My classic movie line-up of films that I will be watching and reviewing will tie in with several Remick and Wayne films among others. Leading the way will be Experiment in Terror (1962) starring Lee and Glenn Ford; Anatomy of A Murder (1959) with Jimmy Stewart and Lee; The Wheeler Dealers (1963) with Lee and James Garner; and Loot (1973) with Lee one more time. Other films to be viewed include Two Mules For Sister Sara, Red River, The Pleasure Seekers, Sex and the Single Girl, The Seven Year Itch, After The Thin Man, Rome Adventure, The Wild Bunch and Cash McCall. You will notice a lot of 60's movies amid that group as I gear up for my July homage to that great decade of yesteryear. Oh and May 30th will kick off my much anticipated Classic Movie Actor Tournament, which has had buzz building ever since the women's concluded a few weeks ago. So another busy month here on All Good Things, which is the way I like it.
