Carole Lombard post March Madness

Carole had a good run in the Silent/30's era bracket before losing to Irene Dunne in the finals. While Irene awaits the winners of the other eras to see who will make the Classic Movie Actress Final Four, I'd imagine Carole felt something like this after her loss....

    As I always tell my kids, just because you didn't win, it doesn't mean you lost. Carole came in 2nd out of 16...and she beat out some VERY strong competition. Quite a feat for a gal whose career was shortened by an untimely death.
