Happy Birthday to the fabulous Lana Turner. Often viewed based on her stunning looks, Turner still managed to give some note-worthy performances in such films as Ziegfeld Girl, The Postman Always Rings Twice and my personal favorite of hers, Imitation of Life.
Monty, What a beautiful picture of Lana Turner. What an awesome actress she was! After writing a recent a bio on her, I now have a huge list of Lana Turner movies, that I added to my "gotta see" list of films.

I have only seen lana Turner in Ziegfeld Girl, but I thought she was great in that. She was definitely part of the era when they raised the new stars on the lot along with Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland.
