Top seed Cary Grant is just having his way with Robert Taylor after day one of the 1940’s era bracket competition. In fact, all of the matches are surprisingly lopsided save for Spencer Tracy and Robert Montgomery. Bobby actually has a small lead over Mr. Tracy. Hmm..very interesting. Will that be the upset of the round? Could be,  because like I said the other matches are pretty much over. Joel McCrea is leading Bing Crosby. Jimmy Stewart is all over Ray Milland. Henry Fonda is cruising past Alan Ladd. Gregory Peck has a comfortable margin over Bob Hope. Gary Cooper is way ahead of Tyrone Power. And Humphrey Bogart has it on auto control over Gene Kelly. The round will run until Friday 8pm EST. Come on Cary!
