Sweet Sixteen Round is now underway

So we move on with the sweet sixteen round as things begin to get a little tight. The bracket winners of each era will now face off against each other to set the stage for next week's era finals to see who goes on to be a final four finalist. As before I will handle the 30's era action here and then you can click on the links below to go vote in the other eras as well:

The second round in the 30's era has come to a close and here are the results:
First up in the ICONS bracket, there was a thrilling match between
Greta Garbo and Norma Shearer which saw Norma win 49-43 while 
Barbara Stanwyck easily took down Jean Harlow 80-22.

INTERNATIONAL APPEAL BRACKET
Jeanette MacDonald crushed Simone Simon 54-27
Margaret Lockwood easily defeated Danielle Darrieux 58-20

DRAMA QUEENS BRACKET
Marlene Dietrich defeated Mary Astor 52-35
Kay Francis rallied to overcome Miriam Hopkins 43-41

SCREWBALL QUEENS BRACKET
Myrna Loy all over Joan Blondell 68-19
Claudette Colbert defeated Jean Arthur 47-37

These winning ladies will move on to round 3 which starts Sunday morning.
