Jean Arthur Debut.
Jean Arthur, was discovered by Fox Film Studios while doing commercial modeling in New York City in the early 1920s. Arthur, debuted in the silent film, Cameo Kirby (1923). A story about a man named Cameo Kirby (Gilbert), who was wrongfully blamed for the death of Col. John Randall. Cameo Kirby, must now find the true killer and clear his name before he can declare his love for Adele (Olmstead), the dead man's daughter. Directed by John Ford, which was his first film credited as John Ford instead of Jack Ford. The film was remade as a talking musical in 1930.
