Kate Gabrielle's Shop is wonderful

I came across the amazing Kate Gabrielle on Twitter last year and I've been following her ever since. She is a big classic movie lover and has her own creator owned shop where you can buy pins, t-shirts, jewelry and other accessories.  Not too many her very own art work and prints. I highly recommend checking out her shop with the link provided below as well as her fantastic blogs :)

One more thing...

Just one more thing...

31 Stars in 31 Days kicks off tomorrow with my first star, Cary Grant. I will write my post about him and what movie I watch the following day. But I wanted to let everyone know that I will be trying to watch some of each individual star's lesser known films. So for tomorrow I probably won't watch His Girl Friday or Bringing Up Baby, as they ware so well known. I will go through my collection and see what rarely seen movies I have of all my stars. Now for the weekend stars, I will watch more films, so naturally a few of them will be some of their more known films. But I wanted to expand my horizon so to speak and concentrate on some rarely talked about films. The fun begins tomorrow.

TCM Alert: Saturday, February 4th

Three great films set in England with the backdrop of World War will air Saturday night on TCM. Two of the three films I have never seen before and look forward to. The films are A Yank in the R.A.F (1941) at 11 pm EST; Mrs. Miniver (1942) at 12:45 am EST (which is the one film I have seen) and The White Cliffs of Dover (1944) at 3:15 am EST. Looks to be a solid night of movie watching.

A movie in the morning starts the day off just right....

restaurant
You know the saying an apple a day keeps the doctor away. Well I will go one better.
A movie in the morning will make your day go all so much better. Recently there has been several
good movies on TV in the morning as I get ready to go to work. Either on TCM or some other
movie channel. Now I usually have about an hour once I wake up and get dressed and eat some breakfast with Stephanie (my wife) and Molly and Lucy (our two dogs). So I don’t watch an entire
movie but I do get to watch most of it. The past few days I have seen some gems. Some of which I have never seen before and others for the umpteenth time. Including The Thrill Of It All with Doris Day; Above Suspicion with Joan Crawford; Bringing Up Baby, and this morning I caught some of An Affair To Remember. So I will be posting quite frequently my morning movie that gets my day started off just the right way.

This is a great blogging community...

My friend KC over at Classic Movies asked a bunch of us to fill in for her for a few weeks while she is on maternity leave. Each person is responsible for providing links to other sites and interesting articles. My day is tomorrow so please drop by KC's wonderful blog to check them out. Now to expand on my post title about this being a great blogging community...well it is. When someone needs help or puts on a blogathon, or some type of event, everyone pitches in. Like a family, and that's the way it should be. I've made so many friends since I started blogging and seems to me I get a new friend everyday. It's just a great feeling to be a part of something like this where everyone is nice and friendly. Just wanted to share that everyone, and wish KC well with the birth of her child.
