Bette Davis vs Carole Lombard for the title

You couldn't have asked for a better championship match to decide the favorite classic movie actress for 2013. After years of higher seeds such as 10th seed Irene Dunne and 7th seed Ginger Rogers winning the coveted title against a 4th seed Vivien Leigh and top seed Natalie Wood, this is the first match in tourney championship history, where both actresses are number 1 seeds. Bette was a top seed in the 40's era in the drama queens category while Carole was a overall top seed for the top four women in the entire tourney. So this should be one doozy of a match. Here are the stats for the two ladies:

Tourney Record 14-3 (through 3 years)
wins so far:
Doris Day 43-19
Barbara Stanwyck 36-27
Joan Blondell 39-20
Myrna Loy 61-21
Jean Harlow 50-31
Margaret Dumont 58-7
Number of posts on All Good Things: 91

Diana Rigg 48-15
Rita Hayworth 25-13

Vivien Leigh 32-18

Rank on my Favorite Actress List: 9
Number of Monties: (1) so far for The Little Foxes (1941) as Best Actress
My top 3 favorite Bette films: All About Eve, The Man Who Came To Dinner, and Old Acquaintance

And the odds are dead even, according to the oddsmakers in Las Vegas. So this match can go either way. The match begins tomorrow morning and runs through Sunday morning. So all Bette and Carole fans, please come out and show your support by casting a vote for your favorite.
