Suzanne and Troy embark on a Rome Adventure
Prudence meets Daisy, who is just chock full of wisdom and sharp wit
Talking about movies, movies, movies. I believe movies are one of the best pleasures in life. Nothing better than watching a classic film and talking with others about them. Love the classics the most but will also talk about the newer stuff too. And covering all genres: comedy, action, horror, sci-fi, drama, musicals, etc. Will also discuss TV shows, more of the classics, but occasionally the newer stuff too. And anything else that might be on my mind. Feel free to drop by and have a chat.

Very cool, Monty! She reminds you of a certain friend named Irene?? Oh.. golly.. hope it's me!! :") I do sooo want to see this film since I read the review of Whistlingypsy.. And now even more.. Will watch out for your full review!
Monty, I'm so glad you've had a chance to peek at the film. If Daisy reminds you of your friend Irene (and vice versa?), I'm sure she is someone I would like to know.
Yep, you are the Irene I'm talking about. And Karin, you would love getting to know Irene. She is one of my best friends!
Monty, it is my least favorite of the Delmer Daves-Troy Donahue collaborations. That said, it's a very scenic film and pleasant enough. Troy & Suzanne got married in real life.
Aww.. Monty! Thank you for your kind words! :") You are for sure one of my best friends, too - well.. you are aware of that - I hope! :")
This sounds like a film I need to check out! Nice post!
I absolutely would love to go to Italy...Venice, Florence, Milan, and, of course, Rome! A trip there is definitely on my bucket list! Films set there only add to that longing.
How fun that one of the characters reminded you of Irene. With her love of books, she would make a great bookstore owner.
Patti - I would love to go on an Italy trip with you and Monty.. ;") And thank you for your kind words! (I love bookstore and library scenes in films.. Always happy to see a bookish character, too..)
