As I write this post, the silent/1930's era bracket is winding down with two semi-final matches taking place. The first week of March Madness (Classic Movie Actress Style) has generated tons of response and lots of voter picks. So here we go into week 2 focusing on that great decade of the 40's, with some very interesting matches right out of the gate. Here are the matches, once again seeded and set up using the high/low placement (i.e. number 1 vs number 16, number 2 vs number 15 and so on). Polls will be up tomorrow morning by 7AM EST.

I foresee some of these being quite difficult to choose!
Oh I agree Audrey. It's going to be tough.
Three of those are going to be very difficult for me, but the one that's going to be near-impossible is Gene Tierney/Greer Garson. Really love 'em both!! You have created a VERY grand competition.
Uuuh - this was hard! I had great trouble to choose in several cases.. and others were not that though but still.. *sigh* I love them (almost) all! ;") But: Olivia de Haviland vs. Lana Turner was MEAN!!
I made some advertising for this at my blog - hope it's okay with you. If not send me a mail and I am going to delete the post. Have a lovely night - I am going to sleep. *yawn*
