Classic Movie Actress Tournament Round 1 Results

The first round of the 1940's Era classic movie actresses is in the books and there really were no close matches. And no upsets to speak of. The closest match was between Rita Hayworth and Hedy Lamarr, which I expected it to be. The match between Gene Tierney and Greer Garson was close in the early hours until Tierney exploded. The biggest blowouts occurred between Lauren Bacall and Jane Wyman; and between Ingrid Bergman and Jeanne Crain. I think round 2 will yield much closer contests. Here are the results below:
