Talking about movies, movies, movies. I believe movies are one of the best pleasures in life. Nothing better than watching a classic film and talking with others about them. Love the classics the most but will also talk about the newer stuff too. And covering all genres: comedy, action, horror, sci-fi, drama, musicals, etc. Will also discuss TV shows, more of the classics, but occasionally the newer stuff too. Happy Birthday Ruth Roman (1922 - 1999)

Happy Birthday to one of the most underrated actresses ever...Ruth Roman. She starred in such films as Strangers on A Train, The Far Country, Always Leave Them Laughing and Good Sam. And tons of work on such TV series like Dr. Kildare, I SPY, The Girl From UNCLE, Mannix, Marcus Welby, and Gunsmoke. Happy Birthday Ruth!

Wow, Ruth was in quite a few TV shows. It's funny how many classic movie actors and actresses guest starred on TV shows. My favorite old TV shows are "The Fugitive" and "Streets of San Francisco." Off the top of my head, I can remember Ida Lupino, Robert Wagner, and Edmond O'Brien appearing on them.; December 22, 2011 at 1:58 PM
