Talking about movies, movies, movies. I believe movies are one of the best pleasures in life. Nothing better than watching a classic film and talking with others about them. Love the classics the most but will also talk about the newer stuff too. And covering all genres: comedy, action, horror, sci-fi, drama, musicals, etc. Will also discuss TV shows, more of the classics, but occasionally the newer stuff too. Happy Birthday Pier Angeli (1932 - 1971)

Happy Birthday to Pier Angeli, the Italian star of such films as Somebody Up There Likes Me (1958) with Paul Newman; Merry Andrew (1958) with Danny Kaye and Battle of the Bulge (1965). Her life ended on September 10, 1971 as Pier was found dead of a barbiturate overdose in her Beverly Hills home. She was only 39 years old.

Desiree said...: I like her a lot! Especially in Somebody Up There LIkes Me with Paul. I also saw her twin sister in Alfred Hitchcock Presents. She was also good, and she is still alive. So sad that Pier died tragically young.; June 21, 2011 at 11:35 AM
