Okay I looked up the storyline for The Fall, one of Irene's favorite modern films
and I want to see this film immediately.
THE FALL (2006)
DRACULA (1992)
GOSFORD PARK (2001)
THE BOAT THAT ROCKED (2009)
CADILLAC RECORDS (2008)
CORPSE BRIDE (2005)
THE PRODUCERS (2005)

ALMOST FAMOUS (2000)
FROM HELL (2001)
IRON JAWED ANGELS (2004)
CRY-BABY (1990)

again: no specific order - and quite changing..

Again: Please watch THE FALL!! It's one of the most impressive films I know!
I see your comment, Irene, and I should take that advice! I actually have only seen 1 of the films you listed here. Uh-oh, I better watch some of those others... haha!
Now I am interested, Desiree: Which one have you seen?
Irene, I've only seen The Producers :)
Ah - I see! Thank you for telling me! ;")
Wish I could see if someone replied to a comment of mine. I just saw that on accident... which of those others do you recommend the most?!
ooh - that's a good question.. hm.. I might do a short series on my blog to present these films..
- I love all of them for different reasons.. but maybe THE BOAT THAT ROCKED the most - because it's just fun - and good music - and the 60s - and.. Just love it.
A very close second would be GOSFORD PARK - very sophisticated, bitchy and so many details that you have to watch it several times - and you'll explore new things every time you watch it!
Thank you, Irene, for the response :) I think The Boat That Rocked sounds like fun. I'll be sure to look out for that one!
