50'S ERA FINAL MATCH
2 REAR WINDOW (1954)
VS
5 THE MAN WHO KNEW TOO MUCH (1956)
Talking about movies, movies, movies. I believe movies are one of the best pleasures in life. Nothing better than watching a classic film and talking with others about them. Love the classics the most but will also talk about the newer stuff too. And covering all genres: comedy, action, horror, sci-fi, drama, musicals, etc. Will also discuss TV shows, more of the classics, but occasionally the newer stuff too. And anything else that might be on my mind. Feel free to drop by and have a chat.

Wow, I missed The Man Who Knew Too Much beating out Vertigo! How did THAT happen? Rear Window's my favorite film of all time, so this vote is easy.
Notorious didn't place in the '40s era, either, did it? That's crazy. You have some idiosyncratic readers/voters, Monty. :)
I've said all along that I think Rear Window will take the entire tournament...that coming from probably the ONLY classic movie fan alive (or dead!) who does not like that film.
You know me...one of your strangest readers. Not only do I not like Rear Window, but my favorite Hitch film is "I Confess"...one of only 2 of your readers who like that one.
And I've been "odd man out" on the Ty Power, Jean Harlow, and Audrey Hepburn polls as well.
Have a great day, Monty!
Hey, Patti! I love I, CONFESS, too - but I didn't vote on any poll.
So count a third silent admirer for that film, please..
